![]() If I have a Serrated Staggering Switchblade that’s maybe about as much damage in less time with the same chance to stagger. ![]() I love Groagunk’s Axe, but it’s 10 weight for a slower weapon that staggers. It’s bad enough my food items weigh like 20 lbs, without food I’m like 128/520 lol and then I pick up another weapon that I maybe want to use… I have to keep asking myself if it’s worth the weight. ![]() Yah, that’s one thing I have to consider is weight, especially for my backup weapons. Though I’m assuming that wounding would stack with something like the Sacraficial mod, which would be nice for those stealthy kills when I have to go to somewhere like the Third Rail. I must say though I’ve definitely seen wounding in action like all the time lol it killed Coulter while I was reloading and I have the video to prove it lol □. I have always wondered at the ignore damage resistance effect, I’ve never noticed if it made a difference but now I’m curious to test it myself. 10 mm and the Two Shot Western Revolver and I almost never use my other guns lol. My favorite weapon now is a toss between my Wounding. I have enough caps I can definitely buy a nice Throatslicer, I could use another bleed for my build. I’m not sure if I need to use it for VATS since I mostly use guns for those and I keep forgetting to use the Pipe Wrench if I have a close up chance for a critical. I’m mostly using small arms but it’s nice to have some close combat gear for any situation lol but it gets quite bulky. I don’t currently have a machete that I use, my melee weapons are the Alien Shock Baton with the stun pack - really nice for whacking things when out of AP, QuickDraw Boxing Gloves, Relentless Pipe Wrench, Staggering Switchblade and the Sword of Wonders. I forgot to add awareness apparently lol thanks for the reminder. For non-VATS, Katelyn in the Nuka Market has Throatslicer. If you want a better weapon for VATS, get the Rockville Slugger from Moe in Diamond City and put a rocket bat modification onto it. With all that being said, by strict numbers I would say that if you are only looking at these two weapons, the Sword of Wonders is better. I tested it extensively with Fencebuster and the "ignore damage resistance" part didn't seem to do anything at all. Oddly enough, I'm not sure if the effect of the Sword of Wonders does anything. The tooth is a normal machete with basically a legendary modification to it. One thing about Kremvh's Tooth is that if you have a legendary machete, you can remove the "Sacrificial" modification and attach it to the legendary machete. Fast firing wounding weapons are devastating. On the other hand, bleed is a damage over time effect that stacks and is never resisted, which makes it great for larger enemies. On top of that, poison and fire are effects that don't stack, which makes them quite weak. There are many enemies that have significant poison resistance. Energy, Radiation, Poison, and "Damage" (or Ballistic). There are only 4 types of damage in Fallout. It can be interesting to take just for informational purposes too. The second tier of the perk also adds Accuracy and Dmg +5% in VATS, which is very useful as well. It shows both the level and resistances of anything that you target in VATS. P3:Awareness is a fascinating perk to take.
